So I purchased the newest model ‘Hawaii’ Lay-Z-Spa and spent the last two weeks preparing the ground and installing the spa. I had a Lay-Z-Spa first in the UK and again in my villa in Como, and I think they are great! Affordable and just as effective as a below ground proper spa that costs a few thousand dollars. Except these ones you can get from between $500-$995. You can buy this in Australia from Outbaxcamping, but shop around for the best deal.
The spa heats up to 40oC when you want it to, or you can use it to cool down in Summer by just leaving it at the ambient temperature (in Perth this is usually around 28oC).
So [coming soon] is a step-by-step account of how I installed the spa and prepared the base.
